Back to Paradise!

A few years back we stayed for a couple of days at Villa Toucan in Puerto Viejo and ever since we have been waiting to return. This time we wanted friends of ours who are nature lovers like ourselves to experience this tropical paradise with us. They have been listening to our stories since our last visit and were excited as well. 

This time we are staying in the house in Big Tree which is the main house on the 9 acre jungle estate. We had not seen this house while staying at Villa Toucan so we weren’t sure what to expect. The house has no walls, no doors, you just walk right on in. Now this is open air living.

When we arrived we were in awl at all the beauty that surrounded us, the house, the gardens, the views, and the sounds.

 The place is amazing. I can not wait to explore. 

 Oh and did I mention the house comes with a dog, Mia

 and 3 cats. I was asked if I would not mind taking care of them while staying at the house and of course I just loved the idea. Just like home.
