Kukoo Kunuku Party bus in Aruba

For those of you that know me you know I love a good party, it only made sense to book a night of fun and dancing on the Kukoo Kunuku Party bus.  The old red school bus picks you up right in front of where you are staying and takes you on a local bar crawl through Aruba. As soon as your on board the fun begins with Mama giving you your maraca, music playing, and everyone singing.

At this point we haven't even had our first drink yet everyone is happy.  The bus holds 40 people so there is a few stops along the way. As we drive through the town everyone singing and waving from the windows people on the street are taking pictures of the bus. George turns to me and says "there are 2 kinds of people, one who looks at the bus and says wow that looks like fun and one who likes at the bus and say's no way am I going on that circus bus. You are of the first kind and I am of the second." It was my birthday week plus our 30th Anniversary so you see who won.

After we get everyone on board they take us up to the light house for a champagne toast while the sunsets. Not much of a sunset but nice anyway.

From here they take you through town to a local residence for dinner. It is a nice idea and chance to get to know some of the people aboard the bus but don't expect much from the meal. We had read the reviews and they are correct, the food is okay at best.

At dinner they offer free body painting and you get a free drink. You can also purchase a sippy cup for discounted refills at the bars. It holds at least 2 drinks and they do make them strong. Each of the 3 bars we went to you got a pink card for a free drink.

After dinner we went to the first local bar, Disco club somewhere in town. It was more of a pool hall but when we arrives the place transform for a while into a party. Everyone got to dancing and wearing these silly head dresses.

The next bar was on the main street in Oranjestad. A second bus meet us there and everyone was dancing, doing shots, and having a great time.

The last bar we have no idea where we were or for that matter remember much about the bar. I know there were many more shots, and the body painters came back doing more art on a few who were shy at first.

The bus drops you off around 12:30am and by now it was time for sleep.  Great night had by all!
