Panama's Rviera Buenaventura

For the next couple of days we are on the beach in an area known as Panama's Riviera.  We rented a car as its 2 hours outside the city. The drive for the most part was easy of course it's always easier for the navigator then the driver so I am told. But not when the navigator misses the sign.
We are staying at Bristol Buenaventura resort which is 1000acres of beach, hotel, golf course, & community. The place is gorgeous.

Our room beautifully furnished, very spacious, and a nice size terrace overlooking a river. The best part was when I got in bed, the pillows are amazing, soft & fluffy. I felt like I was in a bed of feathers.  I am going to have to get these for home.

The hotel is not directly on the beach but its just a short walk or ride a bike to the beach club.  The grounds around the resort is very lush.

The beach club has many pools, places to sit, bar, restaurant, and a huge beach. I imagine this most be on someones list of top beaches.  Its on the pacific which means the current is strong but you can swim here.

The community has a few houses that are located on the beach which are magnificent. We walked past one today that could land a helicopter. Later while sunning a helicopter landed dropping off the guests or owner of the house.

Yes these are all private homes

Our first day here we saw next to no one. It was like we had the place all to ourselves. then on Saturday the place came alive. I imagine its a weekend getaway for people living in the city. Many families both at the hotel and the houses.
Not sure if there are any Americans here as I have only heard 2 people speaking English.  Most of the staff speaks English but knowing more Spanish would have been a plus.
