Couples Swept Away, Negril Jamaica

No matter where you go or for how long your there sooner or later it's time to say good bye and head home. Today is that day, one last morning to watch the sun rise while having coffee on the patio, one more walk down the beach, a swim, and than it's all just a memory.

This week was certainly filled with lots of memories and many laughs.

Everyone in our group had a wonderful time here at Couples Swept Away. The resort has everything you could possibly want and more. The rooms are very comfortable, all with patios or verandas. We were all staying in the beachfront veranda suites which were perfect. You know your on vacation when you can get breakfast served to you on your veranda.

The staff here were very nice, friendly, and always available to help you in anyway. Tipping is a no no here, it is included in your stay and they really are not allowed to take tips.

We spent most of our days on the beach and in the water. For beach lover, Negril beach is the spot. The water here is so calm and crystal clear it's hard to get out. The one day I was out on a sup board and could see lots of star fish, fish, and a few sting rays.

The beach at couples is large and there are always plenty of chairs both in the sun or in the shade that you never need to get there early to get a good spot. You also never feel like the beach is crowded and yet the resort was full.

We love having a flag to put up when we wanted drinks. It became a game and by weeks end we really figured it out.

What makes this beach even better is the end of the day sunsets. We were on the beach or in the water every day watching the spectacular event.

I am not sure what I will miss most, the water, the beach, or the sunsets.

This is a wonderful resort and we will all be back one day.
