Out Moosed

After seeing the one Moose we were determine to find more.

 We talked to some of the rangers and they suggested a few places where there have been Moose spotted. 

We went to a couple and sure enough people had seen one either earlier in the day or the day before. We found this one trail which appeared to be a great place if I were a Moose. The area was full of willows and aquatic plants which is exactly what they eat. While walking around we found fresh moose poop & prints along with areas you could tell they bedded down for the night but no Moose. 

It was clear one was around and an animal weighing 800 - 1600 pounds would be hard to hide. 
First thing this morning we were back on the search but still no Moose. Time to head to Vail & forget the Moose.
