Night #2 Furthur at Red Rocks, Morrison CO

What do you do on a Saturday in Colorado? People get outside walk, hike, rock climb, bike, jump off of mountains, picnic, and we saw people doing all this. There are so many choices with all the parks, mountains, & trails to take advantage of the great out doors.

We started with having breakfast at the local farmers market down town Golden and then walking the trail along the river. A nice 2 mile walk in beautiful surroundings.

George wanted to hike Look out Mountain but seeing it and after our last climb plus a concert tonight I thought driving to the top was a better idea. I choose right the 4 mile drive was a 3210 elevation ascent. There was a ton of people biking up it.
Once up there the view were amazing.
Before the show we went into the small town of Morrison for a late lunch before heading to Red Rocks.

Tonight we were in the North lot which again is a beautiful spot to tail gate. Once again 3 of the cars around were from NJ & NY.  It is always an interesting shakedown.

Night # 2 was even better.  They opened with Feel Like A Stranger, Athea (song is like an old friend), Jack Straw (one of my favorites), Doin That Rag, Peggy -O, Mason's Children, & Promise land ended the first set. The band then takes an hour break.
Second set was great! Dear Mr Fantasy, The Wheel, Estimated Prophet, Dark Star, Standing on the Moon (makes me think of Jerry), Terrapin Flyer, Unbroken Chain (awesome), Shakedown Street, All Along The Watchtower (not a Dylan fan), & Turn on Your Love Light. The encore is one of my all time favorite song, Box of Rain.
Once again a great show in one special place.
