Beaches of Aruba

All around the island of Aruba are great beaches to either be by yourself or in the heart of all the action. The most popular beach is Palm Beach where most of the resorts are located. It is good for swimming and offers lots of different water sports. It is also the most crowded of the beaches. There are many beach bars and restaurants to relax and take in the views.  While we were there they were holding Soul fest on the beach at Moomba beach bar which is between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott. Lots of music and fun going on.

On the other side of the island you will find Baby beach which is a cove of clear shallow water great for families. There is also some great snorkeling around the rocks.

The only food here is a lunch truck and Big Mamma's. The rum punches are very good made with fresh juice and not to sweet. Big Mama's special sandwich was a hit in our group, a burger, a piece of chicken, bacon, and a egg. No for me you hold the burger.

One of my favorite beaches because of the snorkeling was Arashi Beach and Boca Catalina. Arashi is a much bigger beach and a larger area to wade out in the ocean free of rocks.

Arashi Beach
Boca Catalina beach is very small rocky beach with only a few huts for shade but the snorkeling from the beach is great. We had hours of fun seeing all the different fish here. Everyday I saw something new.

There are many other beaches around the island but we only had time to explore so much. Next trip back.
