Lazy Bear Lodge Churchill Canada

Here we are finally in Churchill Canada.  The flight took just under 3 hours to get here. Once here it was a quick bus ride to town & our hotel.

We are staying at the Lazy Bear Lodge which is really a unique place. The entire lodge was built by hand by the owner Wally Daudrich using logs from a forest fire. Now that's recycling.

Dinner was served in the Lazy Bear Cafe.  All the tables & chairs were also made by hand by Wally. We had a local favorite Atric Char which is much like salmon. It really was tasty.

Afterwards we took a stroll down Kelsey Blvd to the Seaport Motel, no bear encounters, yet. It was the hopping place to be in town on Saturday night a live band in one room & two guys singing in the lounge.
