Daltrey, Sinatra, & Zeppelin all in one week.

This week has been all about music.  Sunday night I was invited to Newark to see Roger Daltrey perform the entire rock opera Tommy. Being a big Who fan this was not something I could pass on. Roger and his band which included Peter Townsend’s brother, Simon did not disappoint us. They did all of Tommy plus stuff Roger said was part of the original but never done before, along with a few Who favorites. The show was fantastic; Roger even still whips around the microphone. At the beginning he told everyone to just sit back in your seats and enjoy the show. Sorry Roger there was no sitting in the seats during Baba O’Riley, Who Are You, I can see for miles, and my favorite Behind Blue Eyes, at least not for us girls.

Tonight is Pasta & Sinatra at Nardi’s in Long Beach Island. This has been on the to do list for a long time. Steve Maglio sings here every Thursday night and it is supposed to be a fun night out.

Tomorrow night it’s off to Atlantic City to the House of Blues for Get the Led Out.  If you’re a Led Zeppelin fan you have to see these guys. They rock! There are still tickets available.

If you didn't see these guys at the house of Blues this weekend you missed a great show.
Here is the set list. Zep fans you want to check these guys out.
