George & Jill each
entered the rainforest with everything they owned & lots of wine for 4
nights of survival with no internet, no restaurants, no roads, no people.

Both had a PSA –
Primitive Survival Assessment of .05. George
did some camping as a young boy and Jill a girl scout.
Challenges – After being
dropped off at the boat dock they must hike a steep hill (231 ft elevation) to
reach their house. It kicks their butts but they make it. This climb is done
daily adding a few points to their overall skills.
Staying cool in temperatures of high 90’s feeling more like

In route to get fresh fruit George unknowing steps over a
Boa Constructor which Jill see’s.
Both have to make a decision on whether George is going to step over it again to go back up the trail or its Jill turn to step over it. Jill braves her way. Upping her PSA by .01

Coffee making is done the tradition Costa Rica way – dripped
George learns to make it to perfection.
After a night excursion they must hike back to the house in
total darkness. George forgot to charge his flashlight and head lamp batteries
were dead. Lucky both of Jill’s were in working order.
A day of fishing on the River both caught a red snapper
which George cooked for dinner. Excellent dinner.
The experience was truly unique and rich with wildlife, we love every second of it.
The 2 made it to the Extraction point 10:00am.
