Our experience at Big Tree was wonderful. We were completely
at home staying there. I loved the open air kitchen. It made cooking a
pleasure. Looking out over the gardens
while preparing the meal or watching birds while doing the dishes. Even going
to the compost pile was an adventure because you never known what you may run
into, a green frog or a spider monkey.
We ate home for breakfast every day, having fresh papaya,
eggs, potatoes and many of our lunches.

One night we even cooked dinner. It was
great to just slow down and take it in all the beauty and nature that surrounds
the house.
Even the cats added to the fun bringing home mice and one
night a rat. No worries she killed it and ate it under the sofa. Just all part
of nature.
