Day 2 - St Johns to Norman Island, #BVI

Coffee followed by a morning snorkel is a wonderful way to start the day, which is just what we did. We snorkeled around Watermelon Cay and saw many different types of fish. Tori has wanted to see a turtle for a while now. We have done a lot of snorkeling on our trips but have yet to see a turtle. Today, that all changed, we saw two green sea turtles and got to swam along with them. It was amazing just watching them on the bottom eating and then coming up to take a breathe.

They swim so gracefully along  Tori was extremely happy swimming along with the turtles.

Breakfast on board this morning was fresh fruit, fried eggs, & bacon. I can get use to this real quickly.

From St John's we went to Soper's Hole, West End Tortola to clear customs plus do some  shopping, & of course a visit to Pusser's for a painkiller.

Now with that business taken care of we set sail for Norman Island our next anchorage. The sail took about an 1 1/2 and we had a blast sitting up front on the trampoline getting slashed with water from the waves.

We anchored in Bight, Norman Island just in time for lunch. Bambi made us fish with a caper sauce and chick pea salad.

The rest of the day was spent snorkeling, having a few drinks at Willy T's

some beach time, & just limin around.

Dinner we went to Pirates Bight.

We had fun playing beach Jenga.
