The whole reason we set up this trip was to be here for Fleet Week, Oct 5 - 12, 2015. We love watching the Blue Angels fly and what could be better then seeing them flying over the bay in this wonderful city.
We have been to San Francisco many times but have never spent a week here. On our first trip here some 30 years ago we got a loaf of boudin sour dough bread, columbus dried Italian salame, & some wine and took it to the Palace of the Fine Arts for a picnic.
While sitting and enjoying our food we talked about if we were ever to live in this city this area would be where we would want to live.
Now years later here we are living in an apartment in a lovely neighbor in the Marina District. The best part is we are a block from marina green where all of the air show events are taking place.
We even have a view of the bay.
