Just a few more days, Please. #Anguilla

When we travel we have a little saying that the day is in the hands of the travel gods. It keeps us stress free of the many things that are out of our control. Plane delays, travel god, so many things can go wrong but sometimes things just work out in your favor. Today was supposed to be the day we were to depart this paradise but due to more snow in the northeast we made an executive decision to stay just a few more days. It was not hard to make that choice at all. The cottage we are staying has just one more night available so we will be in search of a place for 2 more nights.

I felt like today was a bonus day. Morning started off with a full double rainbow and no change fees for the flight.

Most of the morning was spent doing work, my office never looked so good.

In the afternoon we took a ride to Island Harbour. It's Monday and everything out that way was closed for lunch.

We just kept exploring until we found Gwen's Reggae Grill. It was way back a road right on the beach. Once again here we are in what feels like the middle of no where and the 4 people out of 6 that are in Gwen's are from Doylestown, PA the next town from us. The world gets smaller all the time. We had a fun lunch. The fish & chicken sandwiches are served with sauteed onions & peppers with a sweet curry sauce that was just delicious. You also get Gwen's homemade pasta & coleslaw that is very good. We were told this is another place you want to be on Sundays for the reggae band.

Sister's - Sister Sledge (Janet from Doylestown) & Gwen

Day ends with one last spectacular sun set over rendezvous bay.

Thank you travel gods for today.
