There is always something magical, at least for me, waking up in the rainforest. The morning start off early because as soon as the sun starts to rise so do all the birds and animals. The howler's start early, anywhere from 3:30am - 5:00am. Next comes the parrots,
the song birds,
and in the Osa the Scarlet Macaw's.
If you can sleep through the rest the Scarlet's will certainly wake you up. It is all music to my ears. While making coffee see the agouti passing by.
With coffee in had wander down to the beach to check the waves. If its a early high tide you can be sure that their are plenty of surfers.
A walk on the beach watching as the sun rises.
A dip in the pool while you watch the Scarlet Macaw's in the almond trees. They provide hours of entertainment.
Take a hike around the area looking for monkey's, different birds, or a shy Coati.
Find a log and spend the afternoon watching the surfers.
Before you know it, its time to watch the sunset over the ocean.
Life here is slow, relaxed, and peaceful.
