Diamond Cay - Jost Van Dyke BVI

The last night of our trip we went back to Jost Van Dyke. We first anchored in Diamond Cay which I think is one of the prettiest spots in the BVI. See for yourself the view are breathtaking.

We went ashore for a cold beverage at Foxy's Taboo which is a fun little spot owned by Foxy's daughter. The views here are magnificent. We then took the hike to the bubbly pool. It's an interesting hike up the the beach, passed a few goats, under a few mangrove trees, up a short climb, and then passed the poisonous trees.

Passing signs for poisonous trees never gives me a warm feeling but the bubbly pool was worth hiking too.

The swells at high tide come over the rocks making a whirl pool.

After this adventure I did some snorkeling from the boat which was really fun. We saw a few sea turtles swimming by the boat.

Then came the last sunset of the week.

We moved the boat around to little harbour to anchor for the night so we could go ashore to dinner.
This is our last night and we went to Sidney's peace & love for lobsters.

Don & Heather joined us for dinner which was really nice. Sidney's was a fun spot with an honor bar. You write your boat name in the book, mix whatever you like to drink, and mark it down.

Like any trip sooner or later its times to say good bye and head home. We had a wonderful time. The Rhapsody was perfect for us and we loved our crew, Don & Heather. I really hope that we can someday do this again. The BVI no matter how many times you go there is always something new to experience.

The last sun rise before we have to make our way to St Thomas.

We really didn't want to leave but it was time to put on the shoes again. Until next time.
