They say all good things come to an end and today that was true for us. Today we had to say goodbyes to all the wonderful people we have meet over our stay and to leave Zoetry Parasio de la Bonita
We really enjoyed every aspect of this resort. It truly lives up to its name paradise of the pretty. Each day I discovered something new. A garden I hadn’t seen before, a peacock under a palm tree, or a different type of massage at the spa. Our eyes never tired of looking around at all the beauty that surrounded us.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Carlos and Elisa Gosselin. We learned the architect and decorations around the resorts was designed from their travels. Each suite is named for a place in the world they have been and each suite is decorated with unique items from those places. Ours was Phnom phen which I learned is the capital of Cambodia. In talking to them Elisa told me she wanted a place people could feel as comfortable as being home. We certainly feel they have achieved this. Thank you both for sharing this wonderful place.
We have had the opportunity to travel to many different places over the years and this resort is one we will certainly be coming back to.
The staff here is great. Everyone is friendly, greeting you with a smile, and ready to help you with anything. Yesterday Rudy helped put together a shopping trip for us. Eric helped us every day on the beach with towels, chairs, and drinks. We even got drinks served to us while in the ocean, now that's service. Peppy knew the wine we liked and always had a bottle for us. Roberto & Francesco were our waiters most nights. Miguel is not only knowledgeable about tequila he is also the sommelier. We enjoyed his selections for us. At the Marina Miguel always had a smile and ready to help you with any water sport you want to do. Jacqui our activities manager had something different for us to do each day.
There are so many others as well. We enjoyed getting to know them as well.
Thanks to everyone for making our stay wonderful. It was sad to say goodbye but we will come home again soon to see you all again.
