Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita, in a class all it's own

This was our second trip to Zoetry and certainly will not be our last. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts over the years but Zoë try brings it to a whole new level. From the time you step off the plane the Zoetry experience starts. You are taken to the resort in a private car complete with champagne (included). Once at the resort you are greeted with a warm hello's and taken right away to your suite for check in. There is no standing in lines waiting your turn. The 1 bedroom suites are very large with 2 rooms, the bedroom with a balcony and a living room with a large terrace both with ocean views. This is one of the many reason we love it here, every room has an ocean view. I love waking up, lying in bed looking out at the ocean.

The resort itself is very beautiful, with gardens, ponds, and trees surrounding the paths and common ground. Where other places play music around the pool here you listen to the sound of the ocean, the wind in the palm trees, and the Macaw's.

The food is great. We were worried the first time we came we may get tired of just having 3 restaurants to dine in but the menu has so many choices and everything is so delicious this was not a problem. Some resorts say they have gourmet cuisine, food here really is gourmet.

The thing that impresses me most about this resort is the service. I have never meet a staff that is more professional, friendly, happy, and hardworking then those here. Each person takes pride in their work and it really shows. Many of them were here 2 years ago when we were here. The staff here is one of the things that make this place so special. Thank you to Peppi, Eric, Miguel, Fredricko, & Antonio who keep us happy all day. Rudy who was always checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to Tonya for her warm smile every morning, Carlos who makes the best drinks and everyone else who made our time here so wonderful.

Gourmet dining at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bontia

One of the many things we love about Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita is the dining. We have been to many all inclusive resorts with good food but dining here an amazing experience. Every meal is full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

Kaax is open for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. 

                

Breakfast at Kaax is a relaxing way to start the day. There are many great dishes to choose. Enjoy fresh fruit prepared to order while looking out over the ocean and sipping a mimosa.

Some mornings they even have a harp player.

Temazcal Ceremony Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita

Temazcal is an ancient sweat bath or sweat lodge first used by the Aztecs. 

For hundreds of years, it has been used as a way to purify, cleanse, & heal the mind, body, & spirit.

 The temazcal here is a small round stone structure. The ceremony preformed by a real Shaman. 

This ceremony is done here every other day. 

It is one on the many extra things that is included with your stay here at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita.

 

It is a unique experience & one not to miss. 

Marina La Bonita

                           

Yesterday we chartered the Pez La Bonita II for the day, with captain Martin & mate Anselmo.
                             

 It was a great way to see the coast line as we went from our resort down to Playa del Carmen. 

Along the way we stopped just off the Maroma Beach for some of the best snorkeling we have ever done here in the Riviera Maya. So many different kinds of fish & colors.

At one point it looked like a underwater aquarium.  Anselmo snorkeled with us showing us many things we may have missed on our own.

Great to be back at Zoetry Paraiso De La Bonita

"Welcome home" is what we are greeted with when arriving at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita & I feel as if we are. It's been 2 years since our last visit & so many familiar faces. Where we are living for the next week in the Nairobi suite on the 3rd floor with incredible views of the ocean. When I walked in I remember how much I loved being able it see the ocean just about every place you go even the shower has a view. 
  It is good to be back.

El Dorado Maroma Beach Resort

We have spent yet another day enjoying Maroma beach. A couple told us they have never seen 2 people who spend so much time in the ocean as we do.  With a beach as wonderful as this one how can you want to be anywhere else.

  This is our last night here so we tried Sabores for dinner. It's a Mexican & Caribbean restaurant. Once again we had a lovely meal
                                   

The show tonight at Rick's bar was a live band which was really fun. I am sorry we won't be here tomorrow night for the fire show on the beach.

Maroma Beach

We just had a fabulous day on Maroma beach. We started it off with a long walk, you can walk for miles here & we did. After a long what could be better than breakfast beach side at Papitos with a few mimosas. The rest of the day was spent on the beach. I even treated myself to a over the ocean massage. It doesn't get much better then this for a beach loving girl.  The water is perfect here you can float for hours & I did.

  For those who need more to do there are 2 pools each with a swim up bar.

El Dorado Maroma

It always amazes me how you can wake up on a cold morning, jump on a plane & have your toes in the sand by lunchtime. We got to El Dorado Maroma by 11:30am, our room was not ready as check in is 3:00pm. No worries, we did a quick change & off to the beach.  I see why Maroma beach is rated one of the best in the world, it's pure white sand beach stretching as far as you can see. The water here is clear, sandy bottom great to swim or just float around.

Riviera Maya

We are back in the Riviera Maya staying this time for a couple of days at the beautiful   El Dorado Maroma Resort.  A few years ago we stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites & really enjoyed the resort so we are certainly hoping this small 72 room boutique resorts lives up to our expectations. Maroma beach has been rated one of the top beaches in the world. Can't wait.
