Great way to start a day

Today it's 86 & sunny. Just had breakfast on the balcony while over looking the beach. I am really getting way to used to this. It is only going to get better from here as next having a couples massage at the Spa here at Dreams. I am really getting spoiled. George needs one after fishing for the last 4 days in a row.

Dreams Resorts Los Cabos

Everyone is having a great time here at Dreams Resorts Los Cabos. It's always music to my ears when people in my group say how wonderful a time they are having, good choice in resorts, rooms are great, & when can we do this again.
After last year staying at Secrets Capri in the Riviera Maya & having such a wonderful experience I pick Dreams for our Cabo trip. I am so happy I did.
Dreams is an all inclusive resorts. Here are some of the reasons I picked it.

  One of the things I enjoy is taking everyone down town Cabo. Our first stop was the Marina. Wow has that changed over the years.

We got an added surprise yesterday the Sea Turtle's eggs hatched and the turtles were ready to be released.

 

 The turtles release is done to improve the survival rate of the sea turtles. When the turtles make their nests the eggs are moved to a place on the beach where they can be protected. Once hatched they are taken close to the sea at sunrise or sunset to help make the journey to the sea easier for them. 

We named them. I named mine Jerry

The girls told me this was the best part of the trip so far.

The Spa Secrets Marquis Los Cabos Resort

 There is nothing like pampering yourself with a massage or other spa treatments while on vacation. After seeing the spa at the Secrets Marquis Los Cabos Resort a girlfriend & I went for a 50 minute reflexology massage. After horseback riding, long walks on the beach, & my bar tour this was just what my body needed. It was total relaxation I could hear the waves while be massaged, it was wonderful.
The atmosphere is very relaxing & tranquil. There are hot tubs overlooking the Sea of Cortes, steam rooms, cold pool, & treatment rooms.

I can certainly see why the spa is certified as a leading spa & the best in Cabo.

Secrets Marquis Los Cabos

Yesterday I got the privilege of not only getting a tour of the new Secrets Marquis here in Los Cabos but having breakfast with Ella Messerli, the General Manager. The resort is stunning. Its no wonder it is one of The Leading Hotels of the World. As you arrive you are greeted by a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortes.
The lobby is open air, & designed with an arch representing the arch at lands end . As we walked around the resort seeing the different room types, restaurants, spa, & other areas the thing that struck me was every place in the resort had an ocean view.

Holy Crap!!

Last night we had a very interesting experience one I have to share. The resort had Monday night football all set up on a big screen right on the beach. It was a great way to watch a game under the stars, hearing the waves in the background, waiter service,food, lounge chairs, & Philly fans in the house. To bad our beloved Eagles couldn't pull it out for us again last night. Okay don't want to get started there. One of our group got lucky and had the score for both the 1st half & the 2nd half getting a sunset cruise for two & snorkeling trip. Way to go Susanna!

Dreams Los Cabos Resort.

The sun is just starting to set & I am sitting on my balcony after a wonderful day on the beach drinking some champagne. It doesn't get much better than that. Yesterday I was waking up in LBI & today waking to the thunder of the waves of the pacific. Since yesterday was such a long travel day bedtime came early which that meant up early 3:30am. The upside it was a beautiful sun rise.

After breakfast I went horseback riding along the beach. What fun that.

Travel Day

How is it that a person who drives for a shuttle service does not know directions?
This is the question that kept popping in my head this morning as we got lost going to the Newark airport, along with a few OMG & you kidding me , & dude put on the GPS. A trip that should have taken 1 hour 15 minutes took 2 with a nice scenic tour of Union, NJ. Thankfully we still got here exactly 2 hours prior. I know the flight is over sold so I had some concerns. But we all made it.
This week I am taking a group of 40 fun people to Cabo San Lucas. It' s always fun to travel with a group but it does require a bit of work even with the most seasoned of travelers all of which I love. When we arrived in Mexico I told everyone once they got their luggage go out & look for a sign for our group transfer to the resort. But I forgot that one important piece of information you need in a Mexican airport. Don't talk to anyone about transfers until you get outside in the fresh air & see the sign. There are 2 rooms to walk through before you get outside full of people wanting to help you & to sell you time share. They will stop you & ask you a question no matter the answer it's the right one & before you know it your at a desk signing up for all sorts of things. I had gone out first & than had to sneak back in to direct people out. It was kind of fun as the guys doing the time share were giving me a hard time as I was directing my people away. I even heard them ask people to see their passports & people were more than ready show it. I got my group by & in the vans & off we went to our resort Dreams Los Cabos Resort.

As promised we had private check in. One of the families with two young girls as the got out of the van the girls came running over with big smiles to tell me they got wet towels to refresh. Always a nice touch after a long travel day.
After the check in process we all got some champagne & it time to relax. Can't wait to see our room & hit the beach.
